Outpatient Therapy Positions
Life’s Journey, a CARF accredited, comprehensive mental health, substance abuse, and wellness agency offers a variety of services including outpatient therapy, mental health skill building, crisis stabilization, intensive community treatment, medication assisted opioid treatment, coaching services, and a variety of group counseling services. Life’s Journey is currently expanding our outpatient and substance abuse programs and looking for Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists to provide outpatient therapy and related clinical services to adolescent, and/or adult clients and their families in office and via telehealth. Life’s Journey is seeking full-time staff to provide client care. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: administering assessments, interviewing clients, drafting reports, and completing individual, family, and group therapy sessions. Additional opportunities also include professional presentations and community outreach. Applicants must be Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, or equivalent, display knowledge of psychological or bio-psychosocial assessment and DSM-V diagnoses. Applicants must display strong written and verbal communication skills, have sound problem-solving and analytical skills and be able to work professionally under pressure in a team environment. Multi-tasking, time management, and interpersonal skills are required. Computer skills, writing skills, and flexibility are necessary. This is a contractual position.
